How to paint OSL on rock?

How to paint OSL on rock? I\'ve read through many articles about OSL but still have no idea how to do it. I\'ve tried using glaze technique but it looks weird. Please share your experiences.

The technique you use is not that important. You can drybrush, glaze, wet-blend, use airbrush... whatever you find easiest. The most important thing, as with all OSL, is to make sure the reflections are actually lighter than the unlit areas and not just another colour.

Here\'s the completed work of my model. I\'ve done the OSL on rock using drybrush but don\'t know its ok or not. Please have a look.

Hmm, the OSL is barely noticeable. You need to kick it up a notch and that lava bed will look like it\'s really glowing hot.
