Looks like you\'ve got most of em on order anyway. I can\'t remember the names of half the GW paints, or for that matter the Vallejos that I now use. For some insane reason I call \'dark red\', \'dark red\', not gory entrails red\'! You should try explaining to someone in a GW store that you painted something light blue. They haven\'t a bloody clue what you\'re on about. Call \'lightning bolt end fizzle blue\' and they\'ve got it! Madness.

Well the main thing is that I have so many GW paints, I don\'t want to have to go out and buy a whole new set of colours. Maybe when I have the money to do this, but as it stands I am comfortable with GW paints and do not feel I have the funds or the need to change.

You don\'t have to buy a whole new set. As Vallejos are acrylics just as GW colours are you can mix them with one another and work with both. And the model colour line really has some great tones, such as Desert Yellow, Ivory and Luftwaffe e.g. that I wouldn\'t want to go without.

How do they manage to undercut GW by 20%? Surprised GW haven\'t kicked off about it...... Does that include their minis, cos if it does it will probably still work out cheaper even with shipping to the UK!:D

I can see why this is being offered after visiting the GW US website. They are charging 5-10% more over there than they are in the UK, and we get a pocket hammering! Definitely a good deal from The War Store....

I realize that its more a matter of being comfortable with Citadel and not wanting to royally muck my order up with paints which are not the colours I was expecting. I have half of an army to paint and I don\'t want to have half of it in one shade of a colour and the other half looking different.

Heck there\'s a company working out of Canda which offers 30% off. I\'d buy from them more often however even when you pick up your order instead of having it shipped it takes two months.

Dark...Red? What is this Dark Red of which you speak? And for that matter, what in the world is Light Blue?
