how to tell if an uploaded picture posted or failed?

I have been trying to post some work that I just recently finished at I have tried both the download option and link to other website option and I click on the "upload photo" button and nothing happens. By nothing I mean it blinks, clears everything out and I get no error message or success message.

Is this normal and I just have to wait to see it the next day? I don't remember that happening the other times I tried to post an image.

It would show up in your "my pictures" almost straight away, but awaiting approval.
Having just checked the last picture logged against your gallery was April 2013, so nothings uploaded.
Flush your cache and cookies and try again.

im a dunderhead...the first image was to big and when I went to post it from photobucket I used the URL insert post link instead of the web URL. thanks for the reply, it made me look at what i was doing a little closer.

If it makes you feel any better I did the same thing the other day. Took me three times before I finally realized it was too big.
