How Voty Thingie Works

Can someone explain how the voty thingie works? Twice now during the run of one of my minis (http://www.coolminiornot.com/135657) I have received a relativly high number of votes in a very short period of time and by my math these votes have averaged between a 1 and a 2 rating. The last time it jumped from 98 votes to 105 votes in less than an hour and dropped from 7.5 to 7.1 rating (meaning the average of those seven votes would have been 1.5).

Not really complaining about the rating, just trying to understand what is going on, it\'s hard on the brain.

The first time it did this was back around 70ish votes where I got 10 votes in less than an hour and it dropped from 7.6ish to 6.7ish (something like that anyway). Odd.

Well for a start the votes update in batches. In other words you may get 10 vote which will show up but the math may not have been done yet.

Personally I dont worry too much about my score till it hits 50 or so then it will tend to rest where it should, and I never get bent out of shape by the score so I would worry too much about the stats. I think your score is about right for the mini nice job btw I vote a 7.5 for it.
