I agree, Tuubje, been throwing me for a loop, ??? since he started changing them continuously. I have to say it is really good fun, but thank the \'Avatar Gods\' lol that everyone is not doing it.

It looks much better when it is full-sized... as soon as I get a few minutes I will resize and insert the image. It\'s a cartoon alien otter with a ray gun shooting down spaceships... hard to see at the current size.

Otter, I have been wondering what you were holding, please do post a larger version, I\'d love to get a better look.

Hey! I thought your avatar looked familiar. Reminds me of X-Japan. But not sure if it\'s exactly from them.

I thought mine was simple. He\'s a manga character named Kamui from Clamps\'s X series. Years ago, I was an X fanatic ever since they came out in 96. Now the series sucks, but I\'ve kept this screen name for so many years, so it just stuck.

And I liked the ambiguity of the name \"Kamui\". If I remember correctly, the kanji could be read something like God\'s servant/wrath, or God\'s downfall or something like that.

yeah - when I saw my avatar i thought it had a nice X-Japan feel to it :) although I *think* it could actually be one of the members of Dir en Grey or something....ahh i *knew* Kamui sounded familiar!! i missed the series but saw the movie...and it just hurt my brain. I *think* i liked it, but not alot of it really made too much sense to me. Probably would have helped if I had read the series - would\'ve known more about what was going on.. meh! :flip:

What your avatar says about you...!

If anyone is sufferring from insomnia or terminal boredom they might wish to while away a couple of hours wading through the following:

http://www.rider.edu/~suler/psycyber/psyav.html

Everything you ever wanted to know (and truckloads of stuff you didn\'t want to know) about what your avatar says about you.

Good lucklol

Gee, Finn, you\'re a head shrinker? I almost went into Psych myself but decided that Anthropology and History were enough (hmm necrophila, beer drinking and writing about it, what a combination) lol

Hmmm...

I did archaeology for a year at Uni, but couldn\'t keep up with the beer drinking and I found those \'ethnic\' jumpers everyone seemed to wear (you know, knitted by pattagonian peasants using re-cycled bicycle spokes instead of knitting needles very itchylol

Yeah, we had those damn things too - course when I was doing anthro (late 80\'s) there was less pressure for everyone to fit in with the crowd and more interest in having your own opinions that might be different from the heard - thats also probably why I didnt get along with my history grad proffessors - if someone asks I might go into my theory of how hair care was the downfall of the Confederacy lol

Aah...Those were the days. I started Uni as a mature student in 1985, so we must have been doing it at about the same time. I like the hair care theory.lol

I did my final dissertation on manic depression in the South American water snail and had it published so there is still some hope for the free thinker.lol

Yeah - I transferred to SWTSU in 1988 - after 2 yrs in jr college - Course after 1 September SWTSU no longer exists - they are renaming the school which no one around here really is happy with.

But thats another story entirely ---

PS - Are you serious about the Snail Paper? I seem to recall seeing something like that somewhere -----
