Hi guys, couple of days ago, i got hold of an old commissar model (the one with a pk and powersword), and I figured I'd use it as a count as attack squig for my warboss, on a separate base.
The commissar seems OOP so I just google imaged it for reference (can't find my camera atm)
Here you have some of my bloodaxe orks:
Problem is, I'm a bit stumped on how to paint him. Trousers will be in my regular ork cammo, epaulettes and chest decoration in a pale yellow, powerfist, canteen and handguard on the sword in olive green.
The trouble comes with the coat, and sash.
I somehow want to distance the model from a commissar, hence I'm a bit doubtfull of my original plan, black leather coat and a red sash. Perhaps dark brown for the coat, and grey for the sash?
Or should I go for the original plan? Something else?
Any and all suggestions are welcome, bearing in mind, that it'll probably be mirrored on my ork generul that I'm sculping, with a coat, cap and epaulettes...
He's in an odd way a test run for the general, and I'm going to try to push my boundries a bit when it comes to painting standard (aiming for between 7 and 8 for both on the Cmon scale)...
Thoughts? Ideas? suggestions??
Sincerely
/Calle
