I would say yuk but having seen people eat deep fried pizza and deep fried mars bars in Scotland and deep fried locus and scorpion in Vietnam washed down with wine that has a god damn snake in the bottom of the bottle and is enough to send you blind for a few seconds just by putting a dab of it on your tongue this doesn\'t surprise me in the least. :D

I only got as far as the mousie wine before I had to stop. I think I\'ll fast today. :possessed:

Hell half that stuff sounds better for you than the average Happy Meal or the some of the prepack foods that we eat around here in the first place. I mean, I have some \"mac and cheese\" (walmart bargin brand) that the \"cheese\" is bright orange! Plus one serving is something like 33% the daily sodium intake! Sheep face is starting to sound quite good:D

I\'m glad they included balut, since I think the list wouldn\'t have had any legitimacy without it :D

But a boiled animal head? Big deal. Sure it looks unsightly but it\'s not nearly as bizarre as the other things mentioned. And in parts of the US prairie oysters, which I think are far less palatable in theory, are very popular!

Also called Rocky Mountain oysters.........aint enough money in the world to get me to eat one of those things. The good lord made to many other things that are palatable that I feel no need to eat a lot of the wierd stuff.

There\'s some truly gruesome stuff there, but the two things I really struggle with are celery and stewed apples. Shit, at least a sheep head is \'using the whole animal\', something that was deemed normal until our supermarkets took control. Most of the UK couldn\'t describe the process of food reaching their bloody plates... :flame:

Why am I always compelled to read things like this while eating! lol At least I can\'t go too far wrong with my nice bowl of porridge. I think the mouse wine and the duck foetus were the worst, imo.

The Japanese are pretty keen on eating things that are still wriggling. *shudder!* I don\'t like the idea of my food being able to move!

I\'ve never really understood the whole \"eating stuff alive\" thing. Balut definitely looks the worst - my friend\'s mum comes from the Phillippines, he goes there a lot and has seen balut, but never eaten it, thank God!
