I\'ve just finished these chaps up for the Sheffield Irregulars May painting challenge (if you want to join in June, find us over on Facebook!)

They were a bit of fun - some old models that are going to be gaming pieces. I\'ve not been really enjoying the painting as much as usual this spring, but these guys were fun, and I feel ready to tackle some more serious projects.

i like the models, but i feel the bases should be painted. some of the metals look great though, really old and clunky


edit - whats on the base at the bottom?

bases are painted - but very lightly

The single base is a swarm of crabs from Black cat bases (I guess that\'s what you meant) but I kept getting blurry photos of it, hence no close up.
