Yes, I\'m congratulating myself outlandishly.... but, I do feel somewhat justified.
Without advertising, without having a clue it was coming... I have gotten my first commission for painting a mini!

YAY ME! Getting paid for this makes me a professional, right? Or do I actually have to support myself at it before I\'m a pro?
Is there a definition on that?

Actually, it\'s kind of a funny story.
I\'ve been hired by a co-worker to do \'a big mean looking monster that\'s really ugly\' to represent her very recently ex-boyfriend....
I\'ve chosen Reaper\'s Troglodyte Warrior (the big one) for the job, and have already done base-coat since my first post.

Haha, nice. It may not be a huge market but it\'s a market that\'ll pay a large amount, the \"I hate my ex\" crowd. I think the legal definition of \"pro\" is anyone putting up a piece of crap painted miniature on eBay has to put \"pro painted\" in the title. Or so it seems. I\'m just kidding of course, but the last time I was on eBay 9 out of 10 \"pro painted\" models looked like doodey.

It\'s already paid for and delivered. I am pleased.

I paid $0.23 for the mini (breaking down Ebay lot of 120 minis), and collected $30
for the finished product, which really does look good.
