I am absolutely blown away

Well well well, it seems my morph has caught an eye or two. Despite scoring a paltry low 7, posting him on here has led to something. I am sitting at my desk at work with a REAL MORPH by my right elbow. I\'ll try not to make any wild gestures in my excitement. It was loaned to me by someone who felt I was almost there but could get the proportions slightly better. I shall do so, take a better picture and then put him back up here for re-evaluation forthwith. I know I should probably be posting this then rather than now, but I\'m a little starstruck - I know there were technically hundreds of morphs made, but ... I have one sitting on my desk! wow!

Yup, Morph\'s the man! (Or clay MANnikin, whatever!)

I remember Morph from Hartbeat when I was a kid. It was possibly my favourite tv program back then- Tony Hart was a total legend and a real inspiration. I wonder what\'s happened to him? Is he still around? He looked oldish when I was young.

It turns out that tony hart is 86, retired and a couple of months ago had strokes which meant he couldn\'t use his hands. He was said to be most upset that he couldn\'t draw any more. Poor guy. Nonetheless, he\'s still around, which is cool. (o:

Ah, thanks! I\'m glad he\'s still around, I\'d hope I would have heard something if he\'d died. It\'s such a shame that he can\'t draw anymore, he must be gutted.

hah! yep it was chaz, lovely animations every one (o:

Turns out that after some probing the real morph didn\'t have armature wire. Aardman/Hart I salute you! no wonder he used to be so regularly squashed into puddles!
