Ok here is the situation.

A couple months ago I posted my Slime Queen.

http://www.coolminiornot.com/index.php?id=2244

I recieved some very good feedback and some requests to post a picture with a mini for referance.

So I posted it.

http://www.coolminiornot.com/index.php?id=6893

Now what I don\'t get, how is it possible that the orginal posting has a rating of 5.9 but the second posting has a rating of 5.5.

The mini is an orginal sculpt, dynamic in design, and, I think, well painted to convay the subject matter.

Perhaps some folks here could give me a couple tips on what I did wrong.

Thanks

Quite simple: the picture is very blurry and the Chaos warrior is not as good as the slime queen, since some people don\'t read this might be the cause.
Otherwise consider bthe number of pictures, I\'ve been busy for a couple of months and haven\'t even seen half of them!!:wow:

Thanks for the mini. Yeah, the second shot is blurry. A figure that didn\'t also happen to be in shades of green might have been better too. Of course, 26 votes is not really enough to rely on.
That said, I love it. I am not sure if that warrior is leading the beast or about to be lunch.lol

I gave the original a 7. The second shot is indeed blurry, I\'d remove it, or at least in the notes, ask people to vote on the original instead. I mean, you SAID \"the base is a CD\", how much more specific about scale do you need to be? Everybody knows how big a CD is, and you specified the diameter too just in case they\'ve been living in a cave or something!

Even simpler, the first pic has 246 votes on it. The second only has 27 votes(as of this message), and the difference is 5.9 vs 5.8. You have to allow some time for the averaging to take effect. Given that there are 1600 some-odd users that vote, and an unnumbered who don\'t have a login who vote, I wouldn\'t even consider the score on a figure until there are some 250+ votes on it. Even then I\'d allow for a +/- .5 on the score.
