it has finally happened. manytimes in the past two weeks the site has been surging with so many new posts (over 70 a day) i just cant keep up that coupled with the slite slowing due to more users posting more pics, trying to comment on minis that talk to me, and hitting the forums once in a while i gotta cut back my cmon fixation of a hour a day! its like caffiene, its out of hand. the only thing that sucks about this i guess is ill comment less because ill see less because ive lost the motivation to try and keep up. always wondered when the site would get to big for me....

This site is a resource hog. Chern is constantly trying to get the site to run at optimum speed. The fact is once we get about 50-60 people at the same time requesting different information, the site does slow down some. I am not sure if there is any way to get around it unless we add another server... try coming on non-peak hours and avoid mondays if you are looking for a better performance I am sure at some point we will have no choice but to cave in and get a second server. With most major corporations, most fo the time, they only have maybe 30 users max, then they split off to a second server. But then again, they can justify and afford it

speed isnt that bad, although its getting slightly slower, its just theres too much to do and not enough time. a site that deals in nothing but pictures will always be bogged. i guess i was happy in that i could keep up for a bit. such is the life of growth.

Same problem here. Way too much to do on CMON and not neraly enough time

Speed is somewhat slow from time to time, but for a site with so many pictures the speed is good. No complains here.

Just tell how to squeeze like 32 hours into one day
