I didn\'t like the second one. I mean, you are a super hero. you wear a costume so you can protect your identity and your loved ones. He is constantly taking off his mask. Just silly.

i think theyve already ruined spider man.
but this one is just wrong. the guy who plays the little skinny red head on that 70s show is supposed to be venom? huh? and they chose some of the worst villians to have in it also i mean sandman....come on. he wasnt ever that cool.
and...from what ive seen, it will only be the dark evil spider man and not the actuall full blown venom...
anyways, im not getting my opes up what so ever.

Oh. That is wrong. Venom should be a big guy. Now the scrawny kid could be Carnage. Sandman could be fun. Spider-Man didn\'t have too many really cool villians in my opinion.

aw sucks.
i was actually looking forward to venom and or carnage as i think they would kick ass on screen, but if a anorexic little kid is playing eddie brock that wont happen.

spiderman has lots of cool villains actually, as long as todd mcfarlaine drew them. like hobgoblin :D

I dunno, looks alright to me. I\'ve liked both of the previous movies. Anyhow, it has Kirsten Dunst :beer:

What\'s the deal with the whole Dark Spidy? Is this from the comic book? Is it something that a villian can do to him, seems like it is a major part of this movie. Might be a nice new angle, they are about due for a change on the standard hero vs villain formula

Once upon a time Spidey got a special black suit that turned out to be some kind of alien creature that forms a symbiosis with it\'s wearer, giving the wearer special super powers. But the suit was jealous of Spidey\'s relationship with Mary Jane so Spidey decided to get rid of the suit, and after that the suit hooked up with this other guy (Eddie Brock) and he became Venom, hellbent on getting revenge on Spidey for dumping the suit. lol

After this, while Venom was in prison, the suit had a \"baby\" and the baby suit hooked up with some one of the other inmates, creating Carnage.

Actually. It was pretty good. I\'ve seen people go ga ga over a lot worse story lines. Spider-Man got he suit during the first Secret Wars. But Eddie and the suit joined because Eddie want revenge. Peter Parker (or Spider-Man) was the cause of him losing his job as a reporter. I forget how the suit reproduced.

Seen the trailer looking forward too it.
Venom is just being prepared for the next movie......introducing him now, so they don\'t have to go through the entire thing to quickly in the next.

I expect venom will beef up a bit, it\'s and alien costume it can grow add a couple of pounds here and there.

The only part I don\'t like about the trailer (and in other films) when a person suddenly gets two personallities, why does the dark side of them, always want to grease their hair back, wear makeup, and dark clothes............as if no-ones going to notice sometimes he looks normal and other times he looks Goth, and not say something.

Yeesh....I am embarrassed that I know all this...

What is you all\'s take on the first two Spidey movies?

I think there was much cringeworthiness to the first one...The Green Goblin looked much like a Power Ranger Villian. Some of the effects shots were downright terrible, and the overly dramatic scenes about killed me. Kirstin Dunst CANNOT act, and other than some big floppy boobies, I don\'t understand the appeal.

The second one was in serious need of an editor. I don\'t mind a long movie, especially if there are scenes essential to the plot, but there had to be 10 scenes in that movie that went nowhere, had no point, and just pissed me off.

Then I read something about how great Spiderman 2 was...how it was one of the better superhero movies made....damn! I am missing something.

Big FLOPPY boobies? lol That doesn\'t sound all that appealing.

ANd yeah I completely agree I thought the movies were both pretty average really.
