I dream of Genie

This MSB Toys mini was super fun to paint. As I was filing the imperfections away I noticed that the top of his head was flat, like there should be something there, so I went to their website to look at the sculpt, and sure enough, he had a topknot, so I ended up sculpting a topknot out of Green Stuff, which I had never done before. The only thing I ever used Green Stuff for was to fill gaps and stuff. I also attached his arms with Green Stuff. I actually enjoyed all the sculpting parts.
I painted the base to look like a Persian rug (actual Persian design).
I have wanted to experiment with blending colors from one extreme to the other, inspired by Mathieul\'s minis.
My other experiment was the attempt to make the Genie\'s weapon look like chipped onyx instead of metal.
Well...enough blathering. Here\'s a pic and a link...
Let me know what you think.

Funny, she never looks like that when I dream of her!! Wonderfully worked colouring, especially on the facial highlighting and the extremities of the pink arms. I\'d love to see a shot of the rug,and the topknot is sculpted well to me (I\'ve never touched green stuff!) The blends through the skin tones look good too, overall the figure has a very Tzeentchian feel to me! Great work :D

Nice colorscheme and nice colors too - you have also highlighted them very well.

But it seems like you should thin your paint some more and do some better blends.
Throwing that aside you have done a really good job!

Been looking at this fig, but didn\'t really see how to tackle it. This is a great color scheme, you pulled it off really well!
