 Time for an intervention ........Uber!! Uber!! looks into game glazed eyes.....Slap!!! Uber!! listen to my voice.................... leave the room, proceed to front door.. open front door.....step out...... look around.

the bright light hurting your eyes, is that orb above called the sun, the green spiky stuff under your toes (and by the way, a toenail trim is in order) is called grass..... that clicking sound is me locking the front door so you can’t get back to ffvii.:p

I understand this addiction all too well, as it has struck my own family...

My (non-video-gaming wife) came up to me one day and said \"honey, what were those silly birds you tried to get? You know, in that video game you used to play in college [six years prior]?\"

\"Oh, those were chocobos.\"

\"Can we get that game? I want to play with those chocobos.\"

\"We don\'t have a playstation.\"

\"That\'s okay. I\'ll buy one.\"

Uber, it\'s okay. You\'re not alone.

I am so very glad that I never played these games, sometimes.
I play arcade games from my childhood, thanks to gametap.com.
Now, if only someone would release the rights for the real Lunar Lander. One the properly scrolls side to side for more options, and actually has a random landscape. That game was my absolute favourite, and I\'ve played pretty much every free online emulator of it without being satisfied.

You don\'t have a time warp device? If you can\'t find one, I think you can make one out of a time-speeding device (also known as a television). :)

I see, blaming the child. lol

hehe....you dont have any kids do you?

i\'ve blamed farts, messes, spills on the couch, heck even a policeman who stopped me one time, i told my son who was 4 to start screaming and cyring and i would give him a new transformer. he bawled away and the cop let me go in less than a minute. of course he doesnt get in trouble because of the cute factor.

i love the power of innocence.

I couldn\'t be bothered with the whole multi-coloured choco thing in FF7. I started doing it, then realized I wasn\'t having fun anymore and quit.

I\'ve always found that the later FF games were created to sell hint books, as the side quests were just so obscure and imposible to guess at that you need to buy a hint book to be able to see them all. When we got into 8 I bought the damn book at the same time, would complete an area and then check to see what we \'missed\'. After about the 2nd city I realized the game felt more like work then fun, tossed the book and just played and enjoyed the story.

I\'ve played Final Fantasy Tactics at least once a year since it came out 10 years ago, that\'s a good 1000 hours or so.
Playing now, hell bent on leveling the entire party to level 99.99

Aeris dying was enought to keep me from continuing past that part of FF7, I didn\'t like 8, never played 9. 10 was AMAZING, 10.2, not so much.
11 I couldn\'t stand, so I cancelled. I don\'t like paying for a game, and paying to play it.
12 was the best game in a LONG time, played it through in like 160 hours, still don\'t have everything. I\'ll finish one day.

It took you 10 years to get to a Gold Chocobo? That is dedication. My wife came up with an interesting point when i was getting the chocobo.
\"You mean to say you are watching chicken have sex?\"
I love FF7. I have played it through every year since i got it. I loved it that much i also bought it for PC as well.
The part when Aeris dies, has to be one of the finest moments in video game history. Music, timing, writing...all perfect.
FF8 is good, but just bloody long. I still haven\'t finished it. I pull it out every so often, but i can\'t remember what i was doing when i last played it or where i had to go.
None of them can match Planescape:Torment though.

naw.....it didnt take me ten years to get there. i originally started playing in 97\'.... beat it in like 25-26 hours and then found out about yuffie from a friend and got the hint guide. then a series of crazy things happened which kept me from finishing the game until 05 when i bought a ps1 again and started the game all over...then more crap happened and i started it again a month and a half ago.

my wife also yelled at me when i bred a chococbo i didnt want and would restart the game immediately. she calls it

\"chocobo genocide\" and i am supposedly \"the hitler of the chocobos\"

that had me rolling on the floor when she said that one.

hehehe.
