Nice one

I think you have done a really good job on this.
Two points I would consider. The shading is possibly a bit too heavy, especially on the rear view. However you don\'t want to get rid of too much of it because I think it really works on the other views
Also the yellow bag or whatever he\'s got on his belt might be considered a bit too bright and need a bit of toning down.
Otherwise a very sound job.:D

I agree about the shading in that one view. Have you noticed that a lot of the older orcs has very undersized legs? And there are more bare footed orcs than now too.

\'The Ork\'

Hi there fireglow, I tend to agree with the other comments. The shading is a bit harsh. Having said that its clear that you have the talent to produce great looking miniatures.:) I mean its really cool the way you\'ve picked out all of the details on this Ork, areas such as the toe & finger nails and the jewelry...cool stuff

I like the green you used its very bright and creates the classic cartoony look.

Really its just a matter of improving on your blending especially if you want to achieve nice transitions between your darker and lighter shades of color.

Whether you choose to wet blend or layer/feather blend (or apply both methods) I\'m certain you\'ll get it happening in no time.:)

I wish I could give you more advise !!

Keep up the good work...Cheers

Though I do agree with finn, caladark makes a good point...this is the kind of painting that probably gets you more points on the table than it does on this forum. In any event, I wish I had your brush control.

AND FINALLY, denis observes the obvious: these models got no wheels! Maybe it\'s just my personal bias, but these guys need to get in the squat rack. They\'re starting to look like the old marauder giant, whose arms were just about as big as his legs.

very nice.

I like him quite a bit. He has that \'older\' GW Orc paintjob feel to him, which is cool.

I kind of like the squatty legged look of the orcs. It made them look more apeish and wild. Of course, I like the newer ones too, so there you go.

Cartoonish!

In my first post I was going to say that this looked cartoonish, but didn\'t want it to sound like an insult, so I just said
\"older GW\" style.

I like the cartoonish look, and I think you have captured it very well.:D:D
