Well, it's weird because its normal sized on photoshop but when I open it anywhere else (even just in "my pictures") it's that size.

I don't see where that is. I can't beleive I actually passed computer art... For a 16 year old I am very very bad at computers.....

Do you use the 'save for web' function?

What version are you using? It might not be in the one you have if it's older.

If you're still having difficulty then I suggest sizing your image only in pixel dimensions (forget inches or centimetres, just confusing when doing stuff for the web) that way you know for sure what screen size something will show up at the end of the day.

Do any composites or tweaks at full size, save the file(s) as PSDs, reduce to the final size at the end when the edits are done (going for a specific pixel width) and then sharpen if necessary just before using Save As, saving as the finished JPEG.

Thanks for the info. To answer your question, I'm using photoshop................4.0. It's really quite old and sad.

Than you have no function "save for web". Your way is go to image size (alt+ctr+I) and set some size you want (for web you will be more than fine with width=800 px - you can stay with resolution 72 pixel/inch to keep final image size "web friendly"). Than just "save as" (shift+ctrl+S) and save it as ******.jpg.

That explains it then. Don't worry though, it should be fine for anything in this area.

Just work to pixel dimensions (you don't need to even think about resolution if you want to keep things simple) and it's hard to go wrong.

BTW, if you do want to move to something more up to date GIMP is free.

The instructions in the article will produce a pic of the right size if followed exactly, you must have made a mistake at some stage.

Other than that it's lookin' pretty good!

Photoshop 4 should be enough for just scaling images. Make sure when you're scaling the unit is in pixels and that maintain aspect ratio is on. Since your image is quite high, just work with the width dimension by setting it at a width you want and photoshop will figure out the appropriate height.

Also, what glass display case is that you're using?

About the pictures: thank you I will try again and stop posting my failed attempts. Because it must be annoying.

About the case: All I know is its from IKEA. Got it a few years ago. About 100$.
