Eric my good man, I\'ve not got a national team of my own in the cup as Wales are unfortunately pretty average and don\'t reach finals these days. I\'m a football fan in the global sense and the atmosphere of this world cup is immense. The fantasy football lark just makes folk feel even more involved. Being a neutral makes the whole event just brilliant...

Now if you want nationalism, put the Welsh rugby team on the pitch and watch me go! Wooohoooooooo! :bouncy:

I hope that lampard can get a goal in before we get thrashed tonight, because he\'s been so unlucky+ its his first world cup+ he might not get a lot more, being 28 or something, unlike wayne rooney. he got the same amount of goals as rooney in euro 2004 as well.

It all went downhill after beckham was injured, and then of course Rooney had to come and help by getting a red card. What is it with him and the Portuguese?

I think everyone is probably a bit pissed off, particularly the crowd and the players. Rooney just had to be a bastard, and even if we had got through we would be battered by France, with Rooney and Beckham gone.

losing is one thing, incompetant referees and cheetings gits is another.

i reckon france will take the trophy, the game against brazil was fantastic and, they finaly worked as a team again with the flair of old.

and sven\'s gone:flip: it took to long to get rid of that gimp.

France or Germany for the win I reckon. Frenchies looked good in the last two games....

france v Brazil was a fantastic match. Zidane is mesmerising to watch :wow: and Henry\'s goal was fantastic. Vivre la France!

it\'s taken a while for the french midfield to get back on form (try a couple of years) but it was worth the wait.
beautifull football to watch.

oh, and ronaldo may have put in for a transfer but he is still a united player.
i hope he has to train with united a couple of times before he buggers off.
pain, much pain, oh yeh, a thonging !

on a brighter note, all of the german breweries are almost dry.
they can not keep up with the amount us brits can drink:D
