Brothers and sisters, I have a dream, I dreamt of an international fantasy show, were all GODS children could enter their minis with out fear or prejudice.Were a Rackam piece and aG.W.piece could be placed side by side and judged fairly.Were modellers of varrying skills could enter catergories suitable for their level off exprtise.A place were their are no hidden agendas and were all levels of excellence are rewarded regardless of race ,creed or manufacturer.Will you come with me?I can see way beyond Jordan to that promised land.I may not get there but some of you will go in and possess that promised land.Though it linger brothers and sisters wait for it for it WILL surely come.We will have an international open fantasy and science fiction model Expo!!!!!!Let me hear you say AMEN. The St. Vincent show (Le Petit Soldat) already has a strong fantasy element to it and there are a number of other historical-modelling shows - including any Open show in the US - that allow fantasy entries.

Most of these have different levels one can enter at so you\'re not competing against pros when you\'re just starting out :)

I too have seen this! Where work is judged on it\'s merits, where you can see the entries without climbing over each other, or bumping your head on glass.

And fun times were had by all who came. Oh, and a drink or two :D

I have seen the light....

Pray tell brothers and sisters for I have seen the promised land. It truely doth exist. The path leads to London Docklands, in particular to Excel. The time is April 22nd and the name of the promised land is...

I would hazard a guess that there will be no games to play, terrain to build, stories to hear or anything else that would tempt them! Heck, I reckon there could even be a bar! lol

Well....Salute doesn\'t have 6000 smelly kids. Just 4000 smelly adults, plus there is probably a bar in the Excel centre too.
