I just got out of the hospital, and GW surprized me

Hey all...As some of you know, I\'m a teacher. School started yesterday...without their science teacher. Sunday night at about 11pm, my wife and I were discussing if my belly pain might be appendicitis. So, we decided to go to the ER, and make sure it wasn\'t that.

It was.

So I go onto surgery about the time kids are going into my class.

Anyway, I get out today, come home, and UPS left me a package from GW. At the Chicago Games Day, they told me I got 2nd in best painted army, which included the plaque, 2 boxes of Grey Knights, and a Stern model...but their website said I got first. The package contained a 1st place plaque, 3 boxes of Harlies, a Shadow Seer, and a Death Jester.

Nothing will pick up your spirits like free sh!t!

I guess now I have no excuse not to strip my 20 OOP Harlies, and make a Harlequin army!

Yeah, I\'m doing pretty well. I\'ve never had surgery before, so I never knew how bad it knocks you on your @ss.

I guess I\'m glad it happened now, as my wife is 6 weeks away from her due date, and she would have a hell of a time taking care of me, and trying to deliver a baby.

When I had my appendix out it hurt like hell... one ruptured as they were removing it and it was all very messy...

My fathe with his evil sense of humour got me a joke book for the recovery... oh how my sides hurt!

damn good result with the GW stuff though and good that you\'re on the mend.

Sure it does, if you order direct and they mess the order up you get free stuff. Post sales care is quite good, it\'s just almost everything else...
