I know I'm old school, but

Why am I seeing hundreds of figures without drilled gun barrels? It isn't that hard with GW figures.

Teenage apathy?
No one in GW stores have bothered to tell the 'Tarquins' that the figures look better for it.

The options are endless.

Sad part is, I'm seeing it on otherwise flawless (IMO) paint jobs.

I hear Razza called in Harry Stamper, considered the best deep-sea oil driller in the world to drill the barrel personally.

Don't know any better or laziness would be my two guesses.

If the barrel is not drilled out at the least I'd like to see a black dot and a painted highlight of some kind to simulate the opening, but that could be more work than drilling out would have been.

For my ork army, I had over 150 orks individually. after drilling forty of them and meticulously making each perfectly centered I gave up out of sheer exasperation and painted the black dot on. However if its a single mini, it ALWAYS gets drilled out. And if its not centered I fill in the hole and do it all over again.
