Practicing with the best leads to improvement. For example; when i used to skate i was pretty good. My buddy had just gotten into it and because he skated with us so much he got equally as good. Better than he could/would have been if he skated on his own. Same thing goes with CMON. You can always improve and you always do.

I know this:

The bristley end works much better.
Household items of no concern often make great basing materials.
\'ardcoat does not make a good drink mixer.
I have much to learn, and always will.
This is a good place to do that.

yeah, and klear magic wash tastes frikkin awful!
Doesn\'t it? <gack> That\'ll soon teach one not to point their brushes in their mouths :)

Anyway, I know this:
sometimes the best sculpting tool is the one you made (or modified) yourself;
it\'s not the paint, it\'s the painter;
it\'s not the putty, it\'s the sculptor;
there\'s no substitute for good brushes...

and

primer does not hide the mould lines you missed during cleanup lol

@frenchkid : Never heard that one. Trying it now, because my red mixes just seem to keep getting darker on me, this week.

It is not just the painting inspired here...
That is what I have learned.
Friendship is longer lasting then even most pigment on pewter or resin.

Mentoring is the greatest act of kindness, to share your painting time to explain what you paint is a huge gift to the pupil.
Thank you for the gifts My mentor and all those that have given the helpful nudge in the right direction along the way.

If there is an example of Friendship and Kindness to be shown on here Tracy, it\'s you.

The forums are a place to visit, learn, relax and you can turn up in a right grumpy frame of mind and no-one will hold it against you. (Much ;) )
