I know that this has nothing to do with miniature painting. But is it just me? This is such a pure and beautiful form of music and Albert King was, and will always be, one of the most powerful blues d00ds ever to walk this planet! Still giving me goosebumps!

If anyone can learn you the blues this man can.

Albert King certainly lives up to his name.

This has to be of my favorite blues numbers, done by none other than Howlin\' Wolf:

Ain\'t Gwine To Whistle Dixie (Any Mo) by Taj Mahal, (and also fishin\' blues) is another favorite, but I can\'t seem to find it on youtube.

You\'ve got good taste Matty!

Great stuff Matty! Howling Wolf is a huge favorite of mine. Love jamming along to Wang Dang Doodle. What a voice! Soul! That\'s soul!

Going to jump over to that link you just put up. And pour a little more whisky. Love Howlin\'!

Bo Diddly was just up this way last year or so, and although I wasn\'t lucky enough to make it, my sister did.

Another Great one is Robert Johnson...

Without those phenomenal blues players, I think Rock and Roll would look vastly different today (and possibly not even exist!)

For instance, without a real blues influence, I doubt the Stones, Led Zeppelin, or Pink Floyd would have ever become what they are.

You certainly know what you\'re talking about! Couldn\'t have put it more accurately myself. I\'m sure you\'re into Son House, Reverend Gary Davis, Lonnie Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy, to name just a few. Mr. Robert Johnson was influenced heavily by some of these d00ds.

There\'s some cool Son House stuff on youtube. Son Houses, Death Letter has so much feeling in it!

All good stuff, but what about the Blues brothers? :)

Great movie! With some cool Louis Jordan music in it! Jon Belushi was very c00l!

Matty, that\'s Eric Clapton talking to Howlin\' at the beginning of Little Red Rooster. Style!

O yea... Loads of really cool stuff on that album.

I just love the energy and enthusiasm of blues, they all pour so much heart and effort into every word they sing.

That\'s such a true thing to say man!

I\'ve got to catch some zzzz\'s now. Tomorrow I\'ll be sure to listen to more of the great stuff you\'ve linked up. Just had a listen to Flip Flop Fly by Big Joe Turner (another favorite of mine), gold to the ears! I got into him through Ronnie Earl. They played together.

Have a great one!
