A new guy here in wants to get blood bowl games going. I want to start a team, but I want something different. He is a GW fanboy through and through. So, i know he will have a GW team.

Has anyone tried the models from Impact miniatures or Shardowforge? Are they the same size as GW?

Aye, the Impact peeps play bloodbowl, at least some do, so they were designed to be compatible with the game. I think Shadowforge are the same scale, too.

Impact had a nice booth at Gencon, and to be honest, I was impressed with the quality of the minis.

Bloodbowl has never been my thing, but these really captured that spirit well, and were perfectly in line, scale wise with any GW thingies.

I\'m not good at Blood Bowl, but it is a chance to game.

At least with bloodbowl you can download the latest rules for free, which get updated every couple of years.

Yeah. That is fine. He wouldn\'t try anythig nelse. I tried pushing Deathball or Impacts free game. But he started people on BB and htey like it.

I just want a team that will stand out from the rest. that is why I was looking into alternatives.
