Oh man you liked Hank? :D I hated him so much, I liked Eric cos he was such a n00b, and all the girls were foxy.

But Venger rocked all, until he got totally owned by 7 headed dragon of DEATH; Tiamat.

Ah I loved D&D so...

5 headed. Not 7. :)

I remember the show.

Hated Uni. Wished they would just kill it.

Sounded like a goat, looked like a far too small horse with an ice cream cone on its head.

And I always objected to the cavalier working with a thief. And how could Eric be a cavalier without a horse???

Unearthed Arcana: Cavaliers ALL have horses. It\'s in their starting packages. Even if they rolled too low on starting money, they got a horse.

Bloody creative license.

Got a friend who plays rangers and still, to this day, tries to acquire a bow like that.

I gave him one, two years ago, with 100 charges. He announced that he was going to practice with it, to get used to how it worked.

I asked him how long he was going to practice. He said 2 hours.
After less than half that, he\'d used up all the charges, and it was useless.

I laughed a lot.
He quit the game shortly after.

Actually; Unearth Arcana came AFTER the show was on the air. Thats when the thief acrobat (Shiela), the Cavalier (Eric), and the Barbarian (Bobby) were introduced.

They might have appeared in Dragon magazine first. But I do rememebr ther not being those classs until later.

I used to be a huge fan of this show - luckily I was just the right age to watch without questioning the plot or twisted game mechanics too much. I do however remember one episode where they defeated a beholder by putting a flower in its eye ??? Some rubbish about \"beauty is in the eye of the beholder\" seemed to make this ok ??? Imagine trying this in a game...

DM - You are face to face with a beholder, what do you do?
ROGUE - I try to hide in the shadows
MAGE - I teleport the hell out of here
BARBARIAN - I pick a pretty flower and give it to the floating eye monster of death
ALL - :eek::eek::eek::eek:
:bouncy:
