I need balls.....

Help!
I need some clear spheres approx. 5-8mm diameter. I don\'t really want to bugger about casting them - is there anything else I could use? Can you get clear polymer clay? Suggestions appreciated! Ta.

Would beads work? I know you could get clear beads of that size, but I\'m not sure if you could get ones without holes through them or not. I\'ll check my local craft store today.

Polymer Clay clear..... Dosent work...... it bakes in to an amber color....

1st, you get sand really hot :flame: , then it melts, then you drop little drops onto (into?) molten lead to let the glass cool.

Or, try the crafts stores for beads.

Don\'t they make clear spherical beads to put in aquariums? I don\'t remember how big they are though, or if they come in perfect spheres...

You can usually buy round glass balls in craft shops like Michaels. They come in all sizes.

i\'ve seen them at work (when I was a Labrat) I\'ll have a look in a couple of catalogues and ask around today, they can be used to pack distillation columns.

They are borosilicate glass but I\'m not sure wether they are clear or ground glass surfaces ? you will get loads for the money 100\'s I think.

more balls that are definitely clear (HF washing etc) but a kilo of these are expensive and I could calculate it but it must be thousands
