i like it (normally im not a fan of dps). cool. great reds and custom bits.

honestly i think this is a great piece and is deserving of a higher score but because of the pics it suffers. if i was just clicking through the gallery i wouldnt give much of a glance. i would have given it a 7. but when i really slowed down and looked at it i gave it a 9. so hopefully if you retake the photos the score will be much more deserving.

a really nice mini. i can see some inspiration there from the old john blanche artwork. the link didn\'t work for me so i can\'t comment on the photo. i\'d give it a 9

Definately an improvement but still think they\'re letting it down, hard to show it closer with those wings even if using the full 600pixels mind you. Personally I recon croping them out for a few close ups (head to toe just in shot) would really let folks see it better, would around double the size of that area. (Take a quick search of \"daemon Prince\" on the submissions and you\'ll see a lot of well scaled shots).

In any case as I said elsewhere still one of my favourite of yours after those \'nid queens.

why?
Photography is muy horrible. You might improve your rating by using lighting, not using ccamera flash, and using a white background.

Highlighting - consists of what looks like one highlight, and its just slapped on.

Shading - there is none?

It looks blobby too... the sculpt or the GS whichever.



If I were you I would pick a mini and just do whatever it takes to make it 10x better than that one posted in this thread. Take however many hours, work slowly, and work carefully... no getting lazy!

Thanks DD, nice, but my mini is a bit darker in real.

@J2FcM : I\'m in no way a GD winner, and I don\'t have any pretention nor illusion about that, but I feel saying that my painting is blobby, that there are no shading abd only a single highlight is insulting for the hours I\'ve spent on this mini (it didn\'t take 2 hours, mind you). I checked your gallery to learn from the master but didn\'t find so many things...
