Hi it\'s me again and as usual I have some trouble finding a color scheme. I need to know from you painting wizards What colors would i use for a rhino\'s hide? Including hooves thanks.

well... i\'d go with a grey theme... even if there are black rhinos and cream ones, too. i suggest to search some rhinos pics in google and choose the pattern you like the most!
hope to be useful!

cheers =)

...agree agree.:)

otherwise, go with a gray scheme. Based on GW colour codes (use corresponding vallejo if prefered),

basecoat with fortress grey,
shade with codex grey,
highlight with space wolf grey.

normally, rhinos are dirty...coated with dried mud (well, at least those at my zoos are dirty lol), for that effect, either use tamiya\'s rough sand weathering or use bestial brown to drybrush it...doesn\'t matter if it\'s dirty or cluny...hmm...is that the word....ah...you know what i mean. :D

Thanks guys but one problem.... I use apple barrel paints and they don\'t have the same names as GW paints. SO could you break it down into basic colors it would realy help. And great idea with caked mud and dirt that is realy genious:idea:
