I need some help

Hey everyone...I\'m new to the website, just signed up a few minutes ago actually.. running an idea through my head for a Slaaneshi Chaos Lord for Warhammer Fantasy but im having real difficultly finding sutiable parts for the conversions. The main thing i need is a particular body, so i can\'t exactly just make it out of green stuff...i unfortantly don\'t have the time to keep checking back on these boards..but if anyone with some expirence in converting wants to help me out just instant message me on my aol s/n- AdmWb......any help would be much appreciated. (I\'ll explain more what im looking for when you talk to me) ..Thanks for your time. :D Later

I was perhaps a tad harsh, but we get a lot of posts along this vein.

Everyone here is helpful and friendly and I am sure someone will have something to contribute.....

You will be lucky to get anyone to contact you personally however. The whole point about the forums is sharing information and making it available to others...short-circuiting this system defeats the object somewhat....

If no one responds to this thread....Try again... Just keep it simple though...\'Chaos Lord conversion ideas\'.... Tons of people will have been working on similar projects so you will get responses. You will then have to focus down on to what you are personally trying to achieve...

I can\'t see you being able to short circuit the forum process however...but it will be nice to have another active member:D

Come revell in the murky depths of the CMON forums. They may be slightly booze soaked and a little corrupt and perverse at times (ok, so that might just be my doing!), but they\'re a warm friendly place to meet warm friendly people, with warm friendly bodies... phrooooooaaaarr...

lol.....well to be more specific...i already have the ideas for the lords paint scheme, but i cant find an armored body that would allow me to realize it..i just need something with a large chest devoid of markings and skulls, etc...its turning out to be impossible to find though..heres what the lords gonna have (i know how cheesy it is, hes just gonna be a display peice..so no worries)

chaos lord:
great weapon
shield
mark of slaanesh
steed of slaanesh
crown of everlasting conquest
armour of damnation
pendent of slaanesh

i wanted to model the three magic items appropriatly, to make a nice display model..the crown\'s gonna be hellraiser-esque...huge spikes in all directions..should be interesting. :D

I would say your best chance is with the actual Lord of Slaanesh model. Converting the weapon hand into a Great Weapon wouldn\'t be that hard in my mind, he comes with a Daemonic Mount as well as a Shield. To represent the Armour of Damnation you could attempt to paint in entrapped souls like a thread a little lower in this section. As for the Crown of Everlasting conquest I have no idea what you could do there, mainly because I have never seen a model with a crown so more then likely it would need to be Green Stuffed.
