I need top ten help

So when I moved out my ex kept MY Christmas movie collection (I had some old things that were hard to get like "we're No Angels" with Humphry Bogart and "Auntie Maime" with Rosalind Russel). He also kept all the Christmas music (not as big a loss. He collected that and his tastes skewed towards the odd and obscure). I need to re-create both collections.

What I need are YOUR top 10 Christmas movies and/or Christmas CD's. You can combine both lists into 1 and give me your top 10 mixed list if you want to save time. Also, I consider anything that's got a Christmas Tree in it somewhere to be a Christmas movie. It can be a bloody death and killing spree movie but if it has a Christmas tree or lights or a charole sung in the background it qualifies.

I know I need to get A Christmas Story, Die HArd (all of them) A Long Kiss Goodnight and various Scrouge movies. What other suggestions do you have for me?

1. A Christmas Story (movie)

2. It's a Wonderful Life (movie)

3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (movie)

4. Die Hard (movie)

5. The Nightmare Before Christmas (movie)

6. Scrooged (movie)

7. How The Grinch Stole Christmas (movie)

8. Gremlins (movie)

9. Ren & Stimpy's Crock O' Christmas (album)

10. "Toys" Soundtrack (album)

evil tendencies

Cake or Death?
1) The Bishop's Wife
2) It's a Wonderful Life
3) Miracle on 34th street (1947 production)

That's about all I can think of, Liz, but I think they're really good. I tend towards the classics during the holidays, so you might want to do an internet search for holiday releases in the 1940's - its hard to go wrong with that era.

Here's a combined list of films and music:

1. A nightmare before Christmas

Yes, that's it. I'm not a big fan of holiday themed stuff.

Well, it's not a christmas movie per se, but it has snow in and Bill Murray - Groundhog Day being something I can always put on and it makes me smile. One of my very fave films.

Might be quite sad, but I think the Muppets Christmas Carol captures the season brilliantly :) Oh in the UK Mary Poppins is nearly always shown at some point on the telly during the festive season

Well almost every Christmas movie I consider worth watching has already been listed atleast once, however:
1) Set of 3 DVDs & 2 CDs from Vegie Tales are pretty cute

Music
1) The Night Santa Went Crazy by Wierd Al
2) Grandma got run Over by a Reindeer by the Irish Rovers

(For the record, in Canada it is 100% legal to download music [not movies] peer-to-peer. That is why we pay a tax on every blank CD & tape, with that money being distributed to the artists. :pirate:)
Hope you have a happy holiday,:present:
