I really do paint..

This is just an experiment. It may not work? I\'ve been painting pretty regularly in my spare time since joining this site in 2003. 2009 is shaping up to be a good year and I\'m happy to have recently finished two minis. I wanted to show some pics of my current works in progress. I\'m working on an Ultra Marine, Asmodai, Ten Thousand Paces Jailer and hope to start painting Kay Finn Axe (just prepped and primed tonight) tomorrow. So in total, I have 4 minis on the go.

Hopefully these dodgy (but give a clue) pics give you a sense of where my current projects are going. These photos were taken on my cr@ppy 4 year old web-cam. The thing came free with internet connection. I\'m planning on getting a good camera sometime this year.

Great job so far. The pics aren\'t the greatest, but it doesn\'t hide the fact that you do fine work. The blending is beautiful!

Cheers redarmy27! Here\'s a pic of the shoulder pad. Please keep in mind that I painted this back in 2004 and have still got to finish it. The cloak/gown needs more highlights and shading! Maybe I\'ll just touch up the chips etc, and move on to the next mini?

You are quite welcome! Although to be honest, I didn\'t do it.

I\'ll assume it was Mike or Sven, those guys are much more gentlemenly and scholarly.

Hi Crayfish! Thanks man! Yep! It\'s time to go the paint-off challenge thang. Five works in progress is better than four. I\'m off to Taipei today for a gig tonight and to spend Chinese New Year with my lady and her family. I should be back Sunday night. I\'ll PM you when I get back regarding our fun painting challenge.
