OK :-- I'm gonna hold up my hands and admit to being a complete fekin ijeet!
Back in 2007 Fran bought me a Nikon D300, Macro Lens and Nikon SS-MS1 Macro flashgun set as a Christmas present. BOOYAH!
However since then I've struggled to get a consistent set of photographs of my figures, until last weekend.
Those Photographs resulted in this thread: http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/showthread.php?52331-Six-Years-On-Can-An-Old-Man-Still-Compete
Today being cold and snowy and having tidied up the mancave 'slightly' I decided to do some more pictures of figures with which I've gained Finalist places with over the years.
Part way through this morning I start to see a major drop off in the light from one of the flash guns. "Hmmn Puzzling says I" (among other things)
I look at it, swap battery, same thing.
Then I look at the diffuser on the front of the flash gun, it has a small "U" shaped indent in the connecting frame, I looks at Flash gun and for the first time in how many years notice that theres a sensor on the top of the flash gun.
I look at the diffuser, I look at the flash gun.
I look at the diffuser, I look at the flash gun.
I look at the diffuser, I look at the flash gun.
And then the penny drops...........
O.F.F.S!
So ask who is an IT Specialist, with MCSE qualifications!
Who has Teaching Qualifications!
Who used to Teach Photography and Judge Photography competitions in the north east 25 years ago.
That'd be me!
Pictures are coming out nice now!
Really I shouldn't be let out on my own.
You have my permission to point and laugh, very loudly.
