AND THEIR USING MINDCONTROL!!! so its got nothing to do with the human instinct to band toghether and then follow a leader for mutual gain. the truth is honestly no one cares. this person is evidently one such person, and has projetced it onto toys (which in all fairness do glamorise death, but not even close to the extent of other, older things) and has decided to treat them as if they are real, that the emporer is George Bush ascendant and that games workshop are running a deal with the worlds armys to keep a ready supply of soldiers going in, through their mighty table top wargames.

Children are the most vulnerable people to this heavy handed propaganda, because they have no way to discern meaning or value or honesty. It\'s coming from a store, it\'s being glamorized, it looks exciting and they are being told all about how fun it is to kill all day long and be a mindless zombie.

It would take heavy handed propaganda to get that idea successfully lodged into children\'s minds, but if they\'re good at anything it\'s exactly that. This is how it\'s done.

This is the bit that got me. It is both contradictory and patronising. So, kids are too stupid to be able to determine the difference between right and wrong (assuming that we ARE talking about kids who play WH40K, I\'d say that gives a lower age range of about 10). Uh huh. Not only are kids (even kids younger than this) not that stupid, not by a long way, but one would think that if they really cannot distinguish meaning, value and honesty then it\'s time to seriously examine their home life and ask why they hell they haven\'t learnt these things from their parents (or \"primary caregivers\", in these PC times). So, assuming that kids are dumb automatons with empty brains just waiting for evil people to program them with corrupting information, why is \"heavy-handed propaganda\" required at all? Surely they\'ll all just unquestioningly believe the first thing you tell them. Who\'d need a hard sell? :rolleyes:


Edit: I want a propaganda catapult, though. Now THAT would be a cool toy! lol

Personally I think it\'s ADULTS who are far more mentally vulnerable than teenagers or children.
I mean, teenagers and kids may get obsessed about certain topic (a videogame, a celebrity, a tv show) for a while, but often it\'s just a temporary trend which dilutes given enough time.

But when adults obsess about something, they usually turn fanatical about it for a lifetime.
Just look how fanatical are those guys... they... they sound like Tau! lol

This people are too close minded to even realize how ironic it is to bash 40k, as the fluff is mostly a satire of medieval religious fanatism? lol

I\'ve the theory that these political-correctness people hate and complain about everything (goverment, media, religion, traditions, law...) because they really hate themselves.

If expounded 1/10th of the effort he put into that diatribe, into attracting a woman/girl he [size=-2]might[/size] have a chance.
