This looks like it\'s the best idea to come around in ages! http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/us_smash

I want to open one!

airhead

Coffin Dodger / Keymaster
can we couple it with an indoor shooting range?

Reminds me of a Jimmy Buffet (fictional)story: Some entrepreneur opened a place opposite Disney where you could purchase an appropriately attired rodent. Then release it into a pit cage of hungry alley cats. Seems fathers that had just spent $10 grand to bring their family down to the \"attractions\" only to lug their sleeping prodigy around all day - somehow found this therapeutic.

financial crisis...and people are paying to smash stuff....wow....i dont think it could be any more ironic

that being said smashing stuff is pretty friggin cool...now they just need to pick up old TVs, dishwashers and the like...now THAT would be fun

new sport:

the smash and dash

smash an object gaining points for damage, and dash off to the next piece...winner is most points in least time

:p

evil tendencies

Cake or Death?

When I was a Carnie (don\'t ask...) one of the regular attractions I saw were boy scout troops who bought junkyard cars, and then charged patrons $10 for 2 minutes beating on it with a sledgehammer. It was amazingly popular, and I think for the same reasons.

Wow Judge Dredd starts to come true. I think the building was called The Agro Dome. Citizens would pay to go in and beat up robots to releive boredom and stress.

Seriously smart idea, though I really hope they are recycling the stuff and not just filling our landfills even quicker (note this could be in the atricle, as I\'m too lazy right now to read the whole thing).
