icicles from glue

If you happens to have a bottle of superglue that is no longer as runny as it used to be, you can throw it away or you could do something like...well icicles:smile-big: Here are some first ones I did with old GW superglue. I made (somewhat) triangular frames for icicles from clear plastic which I cutted from a blister pack. You just apply the glue over those plastic triangles. The idea is that when the glue has turned rather sticky, it will be rather easy to apply.

Looks good. Did it take many layers? Super glue usually dries white when I glob it on things, but yours looks super clear.

It actually took just one layer, but you must spend some time watching after it. You basically have to turn that stick around several times so that the glue won't run and dry just one end of the icicle. Meaning that if you just leave them to dry as they are for example in the picture, then the glue would gather towards the tip of the icicle and it would look awry compared to how icicles should look like. It has been few days now since I made those, and it still looks very clear. I'm not 100% sure if it might turn more white, but we'll see.

The whiteness is caused by moisture, as long as they are kept dry, they should be clear, Doesn't affect them once cured
