Icy Freezing Cold Nippy Brrrrrrrr!

So I\'m doing this Ice babe minature -blue/white skin and hair etc but I\'m stuck for ideas on what colour to do her clothing? Dont know wether to contrast against the cold icy blue/white skin tones or keep the whole minature cold...

Hmmmm? Thoughts? :) Got any pics of simular concepts etc that might be a help?

edit: Just thought I\'d add a bit more:

The miniature is a games workshop darkelf witch elf (one in the middle)

Only I\'m doing her as an elemental (ice) blooded type of lady/ice genasi for D&D. I\'ve also added a katana.

The thing thats bugging me is what to do with the fishnets and armour/shoulder plates? As she has nearly white skin and pale ice blue hair I want something that will either flow nicely or contrast well?

Weirdly -I shall be giving her a tropical/jungle base as the miniature is a roleplaying character for a friend and the campaign is set in a lost world type setting.

erm...?

do what I do...

dress as the mini is supposed to look like and then take a picture of it, dont forget to put your self in the freezer for an hour or so to get the right effect. :D

the kidding aside - what mini is it? is it like a bathing suite clothing or toppless or all dressed up in winter clothes? what ever color u use I guess getting freezing effect could be done in extensive use of whites on highlightning. think frosting on a cake perhaps...

I\'d suggest looking at pictures of arctic animals, and finding out what colour
their hides might be, then using those colours.

I\'ve seen the cold/blue done with white clothes, tan/bone and a couple of times
with browns to be leather.

I think if you want to go outside the obvious hues - blue, blue-greens and violets - then keep the saturation down (duller colours) and maybe also aim for higher value (lighter colours).

Although my first thought would be to avoid yellow-orange, orange and orange-red myself you could use them if you do it carefully.
