Identifywings please.

I mentioned this guy\'s works before and loved his conversion on this Confrontation undead guy.

But this conversion looks so great, I want to try it myself. Thing is, I don\'t reconize where the wings come from.

At first, I thought they were from Confrontation\'s Morbid Angels, but they don\'t fold up the same way, so they\'re clearly different.

The vultures I reconized came from the orc\'s standard bearer.

So any help out there?

It\'s the standard from the orc totem bearer from Confrontation.

Oops. I guess I wasn\'t clear. When I mentioned the vultures, I meant the vultures and their wings were from the orc\'s bearer.

What I was questioning were the bat wings on the back of the guy. Not the birds.

hmmmm reminds me of the wings from the dark elves GW either harpies or the dark pegasus in the dark elve army also. i have no clue though.

Morbid angel is what I thought, too, though I HAVE seen the folded ones, but only in a concept:

May want to check if anyone\'s painted Morbid angel 4... I checked the online store, and they do sell all teh wings seperatly, for anyone else that likes them.. Hope this helps!

They could of course be scratch built wings, I\'d PM the painter if you really want to know for sure.

Yup. First thing I did was PM the guy. And no response. I was just worried that the guy didn\'t speak a word of english. I don\'t think he ever used english on any of his discriptions. Of course, I could be wrong.

Ah HA! We have a winner! Morbid Angel 4 is probably the culprit.

Thanks Chrispy. I didn\'t realize there were 4 of them. concept design or not, they\'re pretty darn close so I\'m betting it\'s that.

No problem! I think Rackham REALLY needs to get on teh ball with taking pics of the indivdual bits.. \"Arm\" isn\'t a good description and I\'m tired of seeing the \"Image not Found\" image when I browse the store.. The least they could do is prime them and photograph them, like the VPC figs!.. Oh, well... Resume normal thought processes..
