Another nice flame...

my guard again... filled with comments rating 10 and 2 rating 9....

THEN WHY it was at 8.1? it was 9.4 at 72 votes, then 8.1 at 111.... a long sniping? dunno but i prefer to erase my gallery than see my minis sniped in that way.

Thanks to all snipers, i hope a REAL sniper will shoot at u someday :mad:

obviously i was jokin... but i\'m really angry honestly... i don\'t want to be false and say \"oh it\'s allright i don\'t mind about it...\"

i prefer to erase my gallery than see my minis sniped. all my gallery was sniped, each my minis fell of 1 vote...

i hope one day this problem will be fixed, i really hate when i have only 10 and 9 rating comments and my mini is filled with 1\'s.... really

I understand how you feel, that guard mini is definately higher than an 8 it totally p****s me off when this sort of thing happens to a good mini but what can you do. There is the program which takes out the strangely low or high votes but that does not kick in until 50 by then the damage is done. Unfortunately these people do not have the courage to explain why they vote low it just proves that it does not matter whatever you do in life you will always encounter some sad asshole who just wants to ruin your day.

sorry for the double post, but when are we going to only allow registered users to vote?
That will not eliminate all the snipers, but it would mean that someone would have to put forth enough effort to register before sniping.

I like Donga\'s ork. That mini was posted 18 months - 2 years ago. It\'s got harder to get good scores. And anyway, it\'s on 7.5, what you talking about?? Oh, it\'s a conversion too.....

Whilst I think that the guard is worth more than 8.1, it looks unfinished in parts - the feet, the cloak, the crest.... The OSL and gold NMM don\'t match up either. All reasons that people may have voted 8 and not 9 or 10.

Chucking a wobbly does nowt!:D Chern Ann would have been able to give you an idea of the vote distribution if you\'d left it up...

Tony I love your work. From memory I gave your gaurd a 9. However what do you hope to achieve by packing a sad like this. Surely if you feel you have been sniped you should post a request for Chern ann to check up on it. Remember also that the anti sniping programme clears out the snipes at the end of the day (I believe).

I also agree with Spacemunkie; there are certainly valid reasons for someone to vote lower than a 9. Also I quite like that orc; I wouldn\'t give it a 9 myself but I think mid 8\'s is ok. Don\'t start sniping at others work to try and justufy a higher score!

Tony, you didn\'t just erase your gallery after we took hours to recover it yesterday??? Seriously, I mean I don\'t mind helping you, but our time is just as valuable as the next guy\'s. Consider that you last favor.

The only sad thing here is that you took the work of another person and said that yours is better.
I\'ve seen miniatures which I think are worse than mine with better scores, but that all comes down to personal preferences. I\'m certainly not gonna stress about it.

Not to pile on Tony...BUT...

I understand the frustration you have, but
as the moderator of comments that folks leave for your minis I must say that you also wasted their time by yanking your gallery. Many people went through the trouble of commenting AGAIN on the same mini when your Gallery was restored. There were a ton of comments left just today that I moderated through.

Scores are important (more so to some than others) but I\'ve always felt the comments are among the most valuable part of this site.

You seem have a very fun personality, but you seem to also be very tempermental. Maybe that is a good thing as an artist...

I\'m not trying to pick on you, just point out that in some way your act also affects other users.

Yeah, granted your miniature is better than a low 8..... But I don\'t consider it to be a 9. Though it definitely has the potential to be. It just looks like you posted it prematurely.

I see where your frustration comes in on the notion that having a solid 9 with that many votes and then after the next half as many votes it tanks over a full point... That is rather silly. It seems to me that the style you choose to use is so subtle that to the untrained eye it appears overly flat. I know that I don\'t think the purple areas look finished. Particularly the helm.

Either way, I hope you choose to repost your gallery, as you are a very talented artist.
