I don\'t really know many names to be honest & have never attended any mini-painting classes nor watched any vids. Sounds like an interesting idea though. I think I\'ll nominate Mr. John Blanche. Huge influence on the hobby (UK), producer of many classic minis (Minotaur with Mona Lisa banner the best known?) & I really like his style & use of colour. The way that the paint looks as though it\'s been put where he wants it rather than where it \"should\" go. The murky use of contrasting colours & disinterest in large smooth areas of super smooth blending. His inability to put a mini together without just glueing a little extra bit on there & sculpting a little something over there. All very appealing to me No idea as to whether we\'d actually get on mind, 3 days is a long time & I\'m a sullen git at the best of times lol B.

Wow, feels a bit weird (but flattering) to be mentioned in this thread. Biggest (and probably only) reason why, as Scott said, I don\'t do any classes is because I live in Sweden and the hobby isn\'t that big here. I certainly wouldn\'t mind doing a workshop of some sort, though, if I get the opporunity to hold it somewhere where a sufficient number of people could attend.

Be Fair Anders, I didn\'t say you from Sweden. I saif you were too \"Tall and Goth.\". And from Avelorn\'s pic I know they\'re not the same thing.

But yeah, I\'d love to get a peek into your process, even a WIp one day would be enlightening. I look forward to checking your stuff out in the flesh in Switzerland. Your mini\'s too!

Blanche would be great I\'m sure, just to see the ideas pouring out of his ears!

Still, I\'d plump for the legend over Blanche any day. It has to be R Lobinske. No, wait, I mean Mike McVey!
