If you had to give up painting miniatures, what would you do instead?

now i am not giving up painting! but i am curious about what would you do if this past time was either taken away from you or you just had to move on.

most of us take our hobby for granted in certain aspects..........what would you do with the time spent on miniatures if you had to spend it on something else?

At the rate I\'ve been painting lately, I\'m not sure I haven\'t already given it up.

I can\'t really think of any other pastimes I can do while sitting at home with the television on. Maybe I\'d paint canvases.

I haven\'t painted for a month because I haven\'t been able to get some variety in what I paint. So I would say, learn video game design.

Man I need a hobby were I work (2 weeks away from home every 3 weeks)
So I guess I would finish my cartooning degree (Yep they have one)
Finish my IT degree (I have enough units just notin the same degree)
Finish of some of the unreal tournament levels Ive been designing.
Do a graphic arts course.
Play more games on the net.
Maybe get a social life (Hmm a girl friend might be nice)
Sleep heaps more.
Spend money on vacations instead of paint and minis.
Do some real work.
Think more. (Maybe a bad thing)
Probably be bored more often. (I have to stay busy)
Find another chanel for my artistic venting (Ranting)
Oh there are so many things to do now that I think of them. Thats it Im shutting down my account and pulling all my pics..... Well maybe after I finish the GD entries and then I will but then theres the tournament in JAnuary.. Definitely after that or maybe after the one in may but then...........

give up painting? I\'d probably try to improve my game of 9 ball, maybe finish one of those four or five books that I\'ve got 50 pages done on and nothing else. I actually concentrate on 2 hobbies at a time and try to get really good at them, and then cut back a bit and still do them sometimes. SO I\'m trying to improve my painting for now, and will probably do so for another year or two (I\'ve gotten a lot painted lately, despite the number of pictures that are up) SO I\'d pprobably just concentrate on my next skill I wanted to develop, which was to learn German or pick up another martial art.
