If you had to give up painting miniatures, what would you do instead?

I think that most of the things that I would take up have been stated already (sans the whole gun the the head thing, it only works once and leaves quite a mess behind), maybe some sort of martial art, work on my porfollio, computer games =) (oh wait, that one takes up most of my time as is), work on that world domination thing, and come up with a couple of more things to do. hehehehe

Well I\'d have time to make more jewellery...and more chainmaille...I just realised how much patience I must have for those (along with the mini painting) to be my hobbies/trade ;)

Oh, slaps hand in discust at forgeting,
Computer games:D
Chasing younger women, not catching them, but just chasing them,
Looking after my koi carp fish
sitting in coffee shops, watching the world go by.
meditating

It would be a bad day if we had to stop painting, thats for sure

Listen to more music, probably go to more concerts.
More walking

Probably make one of the first few items on this list as obsessive as minipainting.

I\'d be in the hills on my bike, but much as Vince said I\'m almost at the point of no return anyway lol

I\'d also read a lot more, take an evening class and get really into cooking and what have you. Smashing, I may just do it!

I think I would buy some synthesizers, samplers, mixers etc. and start doing music. (No guitars or anything, just electronic gadgets.... :D)

I\'m a little confused here.
I see people with lots of wonderful ideas and apparently mini painting is what prevents them of doing them.
Is it really taking so much of your free time? Or is it just an excuse? :)

From a pratical point of view, if I gave up painting, with the few hours I dedicate to it every week, I could only paint a little more with watercolours or maybe start practising to play the saxophone again.

probably I would start to live a normal life.... but who wants to do that?!?! :innocent:
Seriously: at the moment I have a very balanced timetable between painting, doing sport, doing stuff for university and nightlife... just about 4 h per week for painting

As an addendum to my list, I\'d also consider raiding Orb\'s music collection :D

Wake up. Time to Die.......Brion James to Harrison Ford in \"BLADE RUNNER\"

To Galante: No I do all those things as well. I just would increase the amount of tiem I get to work at them. I will do much, much more when I retire after having won the lottery.
