IG Psyker Squad

Hi fellas,
Played a game the other day using my eldar and got spanked pretty bad. Heres my problem.....
IG psyker squad in chimera used a power to dump my Ld down to 2 on my Farseers jetbike squad and then promptly forced a moral check and they fled the board turn 1. He then proceed to rinse and repeat this tactic for the rest of the game while pummelling me with 2 leman russ with the plasma turret and plasma sponsons. Now I will say i have not played eldar in a long time and i did make a few bad calls in the course of the game so the royal beating i received was not all down to the above tactic but I will say that im struggling to come up with a way to effectively prevent him lowering me to Ld 2 all the time. Not great for a force that really needs its psykers to keep casting to be hoping for snake eyes
Any ideas?

the IG psi squad only has a Ld of 8 or 9 and your farseer should have had those runes that make him take psi tests on 3D6. that is a good way of shutting down those guys.

yeah suppose, I imagine he will be taking a couple of units in the future so it will still get through a good bit but guess i'll just have to live with my farseer being a useless mini for a turn every now and again

There is the option that many guys do- take two farseers to get a double crack at those 3d6 and powers- or just take Eldrad plus a seer... with your warlock squads.
They can be accompanied by two independent characters if i don't miss the mark here.
That cheaky sneaky bugger IG- using psy on eldar hmmm...

Wait til the new dex in a week or so- lots of new goodies to smoke that squad... muhaha

taking the psi test on 3D6 is not an eldar psi power but a piece of eldar wargear, so you only need one farseer to get that.
the whole thing is a bit moot right now though with the new eldar codex coming out in a couple of weeks.

True- just take two farseers with the appropriate stones to get two tries at it though is what I meant... and as you say=moot point in x 1 week lol
Curious to see what the "mindshock pod" will do. Is it an anti-psyker weapon or just a general mind fry thing? We shall soon see. Plus there may be buffs for having more than one farseer and the like from the sounds of it.

Runes of warding are a must have in 6th edition. you will not regret taking them if you tend to face grey knights ever

Sorry bro- I fear that those guard psykers are still a treat even with a new codex. Is this just me or are runes a single use only thing now?
