I\'d bet they\'re all from both. Although only a couple are recognizable to me and none are recognized as being from both.

LOTR: 1,4,6,10,11. 7 rings a bell, it might be one of the Rohan villagers. Guess I need to read the books again. ;)

1,4,7,10 &11

Faramir brother of Boromir sons of Denethor steward of Gondor

Boromir brother of Faramir as above

Freda the little girl that leaves the Westfold of Rohan with her brother to warn of the coming Orc invaders at Edoras

Frodo son of Drogo nephew to Bilbo bearer of the Ring of Power on the quest to mount Doom

Grima advisor to Theoden agent of Saruman later after he is thrown out of Edoras becomes Worm and causes trouble in the Shire with Sharky formerly Saruman and ends up coming to a nasty end when his throat gets slit.

Can\'t think of anymore in there.

You might be getting confused with Gildor Inglorion though I haven\'t read the books for ages, the name doesn\'t ring any bells.

Well 13 seems obviously to be an Ikea product since that looks like a Scandinavian word.

But anyway, Ikea:
2: Freden
3: Grundtal
5: Molger
8: Agerum
9: Babord
13: Brunkrissla
14: Sultan Hogbo

I just researched Galdor and there are three references to him in the Lotr histories,

1, Galdor the Tall, Man of Dor-lómin, son of Hador and father of Húrin Thalion

2 Galdor of the Havens, an Elf of the Grey Havens from The Lord of the Rings

3 Galdor of Gondolin, an Elven lord of Gondolin from The Book of Lost Tales

So Galdor is a character from Tolkiens world.

Nah, they can Swedish words, names of people and places (but only in Sweden, AFAIK), or just made up names.

I thought they were names of some of the employees?

I am fairly certain that is right. My wife stole the :cussing: magazine so I can\'t know for certain. I do remember it was a 6 to 8 split.

Cake or Death?
It\'s not surprising they sound similar. Tolkien was a linguist, and based much of his writing off of Scandinavian mythology.
