A very nice miniature to paint. Very nice pose, lots of expression, the amount of details is quite impressive... Really, if you can check out the Warlord Saga range from Andrea miniatures, it\'s worth it.

As for the painting itself... Mostly acrylics, the reds are based on GW scab red, highlited with blood red and then a mix of golden yellox and white, that was also used for the freehand. Shaded with black on small areas, Vallejo Prussian blue on bigger areas.

Metallic parts are painted with boltgun metal, mithril silver, all GW, shaded with black, and then there was an extensive use of variousinks... Yellow, red, purple, magenta. Blue as well.

Skin is oil-painted.

Overall very nice work. But I can\'t quite understand what you were going after with the face. What is the green part and why is the bottom part skin coloured? If the green is supposed to be a tinted shadow the lighting doesn\'t make sense to me. But the rest is as usual excellent.

Yeah, I have to second Sven\'s comments about the face... I don\'t understand it either and it immediatley grabs my attention when the picture loads. But the rest looks great, especially the metallics!

Well, I wanted the face to be mysterious. Since it seems to be... A bit to much so , I changed it, I\'ll try to post other pics later... Probably tomorrow.

Hmmm... Isn\"t it still too green around the necklace area?

It looks a lot better now! There are still some funny colours here and there, but now they act to make the face look more interesting instead of making it look weird. Great work!

It looks very good. I know how hard it is to paint at that scale.

The only thing I don\'t like are the bushy eyebrows. Kind of strange for an elf don\'t you think?

Looks very nice. I love the armour. The face is nice other than the eyebrows. He seems to have an almost feminine quality to the face.
