im buggering about with nmm

have been unable to get any painting done recently due to lots of travelling with work but have just picked up a brush again and have decided to have a stab at nmm on a model i had lying about. I last attempted nmm a couple of years ago and i was crap at it so comments and criticism as i go along much appreciated.

the basic idea is right, the lighter parts could do with being brought out a little more to aid the contrast (the glare spots when added will probably help this)

take a look at wappalious\'s nmm platemail, he does some realy nice stuff.
i\'ve personaly gone back to metalics and using the knowledge i gained from nmm to enhance what i do with them.

I like the look of this, especilly the side armour looks convincing, the top highlight needs to be blended a bit more though. The darker parts look super convincing

good luck dude, i tried nmm with her and she did my head in because of all the angles etc. i have just finished stripping the paint off
