I'm going to be quiet!

Although I'm not the most vocal of posters on here, I'm going to be a bit quieter on here from Monday. I'm starting a new job (last day at my current employer today) and being a larger company actually monitor the internet usage and have a clause in their Terms and Conditions that means I'm theoretically not allowed to post on forums using their internet connection. My current employer doesn't do this (and I look after their IT anyway).

The plan is to get a 3g card for my iPad but that'll be restricted to lunchtimes and evenings (when I'm notoriously bad at looking on the forums).

IT wallah here as well and I too have limited internet access from work, but iPad and Costa are my slippery "grip" on reality.

CO used to be much more understanding of beer - especially since they are the home of Coors.
Not to mention the percentage of revenue that hunters generate for the state - not only in licences, but in hotels, gas, food and guide fees.

Yep serious double standards apply, can't see Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or any social networking site, yet the council has links to all of them on the web page and intranet.
Can't get to Coolminiornot cos it's blocked as "Gaming" yet can access "Foxybingo".
Can't see "www.thedevilspanties.com" [Blocked keyword] yet can access JimmyJane vibrators website and OGLAF.COM

You should try living in the middle east. A few years back they banned the shrek spin off film, puss in boots... So you can imagine how well targeted the internet censorship is. And thats the whole country not just one employer.
