Hmmm gee I would\'ve really liked to comment but I honestly didn\'t like the model very much. It has a really...gritty look to it..I don\'t know how to describe...feels like I can\'t see the detail very well. That was a good-looking flame on the arm though.

Well, my first impression is that it\'s dark. There isn\'t enough contrast in the detail to make it interesting. It looks as if you put some time into the details, but they don\'t stand out. That could be the fault of the picture, since I can\'t see the figure close up in better lighting.

I note you said you painted it to be \"dark and brooding\", which is fine, but it doesn\'t tend to get attention from folks who like to look at exciting paint jobs.

My challenge for you then, is to find a way to paint \"dark\" without using black. Make the figures look mean, scary, and evil with other colors.

Take a look at some of the stuff here that is getting high marks and note the color schemes and use of highlighting.

The issues here,
Crispness, your lines need to be a little cleaner, the bones and the like, those details need to be sharp and clean.

Monocromatic. This models ie predominantly one color with little shading and highliting.

Metalic paint: the trim appears to be metalic paint rather than a smooth metal, this detracts from the model.

The color that is used on this moddel appears to be painted rather thick.

The face needs shading and highliting.

The image is blurred in many locations detracting from the model.

Personaly I think people are being generous when giving you a 6 based on your painting. However this is a cool model and thus the 6 is understandable.
