Imperial Angel

I want to make a pic from ghostmaker (Gaunt's ghosts) Chapter five "the angel of bucephalon" (my favorite story of all the ghost stories.) where larkin talks with the angel, but I do not know how a Imperial angel looks like.
Is it a battle of sister angel or your regular bible angel. you tell me, I want it as fluff accurate as possible.

The Space marines are called Angels every now and then... But looking at their extended use of cherubs and other biblical references I'd say a 'normal' angel would fit the fluff just fine.

i imagined her as a woman. fairly young, in pure white but tatty robes. maybe with really short messy hair like some sort of p.o.w. i'm not sure why i see her that way but i feel it fits in with the 40k universe. looking like some kind of caring street urchin i white almost. if you get me?

i've always imagined her as either a gothic angel, like you see on cemeteries or vampire movies, or pretty much like the saint celestine model....

Hair like a sister of battle, straight along the sides of the face, to the top of the neck, wearing something like a toga or robe, torn, and with wings.
This without hunting down my book, which seems to be on walk-about.

Since 40K imagery seems to be highly gothic, I reckon that any classical angel will do - soft, clean, white, and pure, to provide a distinct contrast from grubby Larkin. Perhaps something similar to the Hasslefree Christmas Angel (the limited ed one), if you can find it, but generally any female fig in something long and flowing (without any hard armour or tough edges) ought to do when converted with wings.

I don't know why, but I just pictured a diorama with Gaunt chatting to Jimmi Hendrix; who is passing up a huge reefer from his relaxed seat on a stone...

It bears no relevance, I just had to share...
