Hi,

yea i agree it really good book, but it would of been even better if it was a dvd as i find watching someone do it and published in a book is2 diffrent things.

Though saying that ive watched p3 paint dvd and it was pretty cool and clears up alot of things i liked, though i wouldnt say it was a masterclass like imperial armour masterclass.

Although i hear hot lead dvd is suppose to be ace.

Just on the painting front I can\'t recommend Marty Welch\'s book enough, The Art Of Weathering. Amazon.co.uk link here.

As you can see from the cover this is aimed at railway modellers but most of the techniques - nearly all for enamels - can be adapted. This book is nearly single-handedly responsible for a revolution in the way armour was painted in the UK first, then elsewhere.

While the IA model masterclass book is good, it doesn\'t really have anything on Mig Jimenez\'s FAQ. You can get FAQ on vid as well.

I\'m waiting to see what the next IA modeling books put forth as they are supposedly going to focus on different races. Maybe FW will pull out something novel.:)

Ouch! I\'m guessing that is for the oop 1st ed. hardcover or someone is just price gouging.

I know you can get them in the U.S. off Amazon pretty regularly for between $50 - $70.;)
