Hi, Ive never painted vehicles before, but imo although you have put weathering on it still looks 'painted' not real aging / damage. You need to get some rust / oil / earth etc. on the tracks and select places to give it a real metal tank look.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks 10 ball, I will definitely bear that in mind on the next one - that is useful advice! I did do a few layers of drybrushed dheneb stone (for dust) on and around the tracks but I guess it didnt really stand out that much, particularly in the photos. Thanks again ! P.S. your work is great!

I actually like what you have done with it... the weathering is fine as far as I can see... it's one thing making it look used but some vehicles seem to become nothing more than people testing how far they can push their rust effects.

The bottom line is that tanks are expensive for any army, they cost lots to keep running, to fuel and to get to the battle generally... you rarely see a proper knackered one on the battle field in the real world and the imperium does have a few quid to invest so with that in mind, I think you have got it bang on.

I don't like the writing though :p
